Description
Villa Ca ‘Zorzi in the province of Venice.
Major Villa of Palladian type with a large external staircase leading to the main entrance with a large atrium and lounge on the mezzanine floor characterized by a characteristic Venetian floor.
The real estate complex of Villa Ca ‘Zorzi has been built between 1920 and 1926 and it is divided into two buildings, the Villa and the Barchessa with a total surface area of 2380 square meters plus terraces, garden, patio, flat roof, porch and balconies, on the inside of a land of 18,500 square meters in the park, to which a further building land of 1620 square meters is annexed with a feasible surface of an additional 540 square meters.
The villa, in order to the architectural criteria of the Palladian typology, offers a relationship of continuity between the landscape of the context and great internal spatiality through a considerable volumetry and different perspectives from the different environments. The total area of the villa is 1356 square meters plus terraces and flat roof.
Next to the villa stands a Barchessa, a large L-shaped building with a splendid arched portico constituting the remittances and the old granaries. The total area of this section is 910 square meters plus a porch and terrace.
The two buildings are in a context of absolute landscape value consisting of a centuries-old park of almost two hectares with tall trees, lawns and hedges making up an “Italian” garden.
